Good morning, and welcome back!
We hope you all had a fine Thanksgiving holiday with friends and loved ones. And in case you didn’t see Friday’s Orange County Register, we thought we’d point out a great Thanksgiving story involving our very own Rosemarie Klucsar, a nutrition services manager at Venado Middle School.
Each year, Mrs. Klucsar asks students from Venado and Brywood Elementary School to pen thank-you notes to U.S. Marines. But the altruism doesn’t end there. Come Thanksgiving Day, she and her husband, Ron, open up their home to four randomly selected Marines from Camp Pendleton to share a meal of turkey, ham and all the sides – and to read through the stacks of heartfelt letters.
